There is no trade today in observation of Martin Luther King Day. Trading will resume at 7 p.m. Wheat Growers will be open normal business hours.

Corn: As of 7:45-

The corn market traded in a narrow range Friday closing just ¼ higher. The day after report showed much of same. Strength from the bean complex wasn’t enough to pull it higher.

Soybeans: As of 7:45-

Fund buying, SA weather and lingering report strength led to a higher day for soybeans again Friday.

Wheat: As of 7:45-

Lower acres vs. ample supplies will be the debate going forward. Then throw in the annual HRW winter kill rumblings here and there and you have wheat higher than we have seen since last summer. Could this be an opportunity to move some old crop? Particularly in an inverted Minneapolis market?
