Corn: This week’s Total US Corn Conditions are down 2% to a 74% Good/Excellent rating. PA, MO, NE, and CO are all down a percent. SD is down 3% while MI and IL are both -4%. OH took another hit and is down 7% this week to a 47% rating. OH has dropped 23% in the last 4 weeks. Looking on the brighter side: ND, WI, and KY are all up 1%. TN is also looking to better conditions at up 2% to a 66% rating. WI has the highest G/E rating at 88%.

Soybeans: Total US Soybean Conditions remain the same as last week at a 72% G/E rating. IA, LA, MI, and IN are all down 1 percent. SD and MS are both down 3%. OH is down another 6% to a 52% G/E rating on the soybean side, which is a 16% decrease in the past 4 weeks. NE is up percent and KS is up 3% to a 61% rating. IL, AR, TN, and KY are all up 2%. WI has the highest rating on beans as well at an 88% G/E rating.

Spring Wheat Harvested: Turning to wheat harvest again, SD has moved up to 73% harvested this week from a 55% last week. MN is at 42% and ID is at a 41%, ID made the most harvest progress this week with a 35% jump. WA is working on getting some acres covered at 30% harvested. MT is 18% more harvested this week from 1% last week and ND moves to 22% this week from only 4% harvested last week. Overall it is looking like SW harvest is well under way across the nation. The Total US Spring Wheat Harvested moves to 30% this week which is up 20% from last week but behind last year’s 22% harvested at this time.

Winter Wheat Harvested: This week there are 10 states that have finished up harvest: NE, KS, OK, TX, MO, AR, NC, OH, IN, and IL. MI and CA are both 99% harvested and SD is up 5% to 92% harvested this week. MT, OR, WA, and ID are up to 82%, 78%, 57%, and 55% harvested respectively. ID has made the most progress this week with 34% more wheat harvested. The Total US Winter Wheat Harvested it up 5% to 94% done this week. A little ahead of the 5 year average which is at 91%.
