Wheat Growers will be at Dakotafest this week……stop by and visit us along seed row at booth SR14.

Corn As of 7:45 – Up 3
Corn finished the week stronger on Friday, finding support from FSA initial release on prevent plant coming in at 1.5 million acres on corn. Pro Farmer crop tour begins today in OH and IN. Extended forecast looks for decent amounts of precip for the upper Midwest.

SOYBEANS: As of 7:45 – Steady
The past precip and outlook for more is making for ideal conditions for the soybeans. Preliminary FSA numbers suggest soybean acreage may be projected 1 mil acres too high. We couldn’t hold that early momentum on Friday and ended up closing 4 lower on the day.

WHEAT: As of 7:45 – MPLS and KC Down 4
The same weather forecast as noted above is not helping to get the Wheat crop in the bin! Wheat also got a pop on Friday from Ukraine/Russian tensions, pushing us to double digit gains. Continue to monitor wheat quality as moisture continues to delay harvest……
