CORN: As of 7:45 – Dn 3
Some positive news yesterday….. new crop U.S. export sales were strong at 45 mbu compared to estimates of 16-24 mbu for the week. However the market couldn’t hold those gains and settled down a penny on the day.

SOYBEANS: As of 7:45 – Dn 11
As with corn, New Crop export sales were double expectations at 90.1 million bushels. Cooler, drier in the forecast for the Northern Plains.

WHEAT: As of 7:45 – Steady
Wheat was up strong early following beans, but followed corn into the close and finished a penny lower. The ND Wheat Quality tour ended late yesterday with yields coming in at a record 48.6 bushels per acre. The previous record was 48.0 bu/ac and last year’s estimate was at 44.9 bu/ac.
