CORN: As of 7:45 – DN 1
Talk of weather getting too dry in Argentina which could reduce corn seedings, was enough of a spark for the funds to buy an estimated 5000 contracts on the day. USDA announced the sale of 278tmt of corn to Japan for next year’s crop.  Are you curious what the corn quality is like in your farm bins after the wet harvest?  We will have the bin power probe out and about in your areas after the first of the year.  Get in contact with your nearest location or Grain Marketing Specialist to get on the list to get to your farm!

SOYBEANS:  As of 7:45 – Steady
As with the corn…..Dry Argentine weather forecasted for the next week brought futures support today. The crop has either just been planted or in early veg stage so it’s hard to really hurt it now, but weather watchers taking note.  Jan beans keep hugging the $13.50 mark…..do you have a cash price target in mind that we could work for you?

WHEAT:  As of 7:45 – MPLS Steady, KC DN 2
Egypt bought 120,000 mt of Romanian and Russian wheat for late Jan.  Futures continue the slide with little news and no one willing to stand up and take a chance on a bounce.
