Speculation about Thursday's report had trade squaring up positions yesterday. Hot dry weather progressing the crop along, especially in the western belt. Record heat in Iowa and Illinois. A cooling trend is shown for the rest of the week with some rain chances. A lot of bushel numbers to be played with. Positioning will continue until tomorrow's report. Support at 4.60 on the Dec.


Soybeans as of 8:00am.   Nov. 3 higher

Beans trading mixed yesterday. Talk of China buying surging in the South American market. Trade still amazed with China's interest. Estimated total production for Thursday's report at 3.14 mln bushels. South American total production 60% more than the US. Beans still holding at$13.50 on the Nov.


Wheat as of 8:00 am. Spr. Wheat. 1 higher    Win.  Wheat. unchanged

Wheat continues to follow corn. Exports have been good. US Spr. Wheat crop estimates seem to be good. There are also some early winter wheat planting being reported.
