Grain Marketing Specialist
Due to the state of South Dakota’s Dakota Fast File changeover to the Secretary of State UCC Filing System, Wheat Growers will not be issuing grain checks from Friday, November 13th at 5:00 PM through Monday, November 16th at 8:00 AM.
Weekly ethanol production continues its trend higher with another 13k barrels/day gained week over week to reach 982,000, 3.8% higher than last year. Ethanol stocks were up 80 thousand barrels to 18,854. Export Sales out this morning were with the range of 18-26 expected at 24.4mbu. China wants to cut corn supplies by 20% by 2020.
Soybeans: Down 3
USDA announced yesterday at 8am 300tmt sold to China which really isn’t all that non-ordinary of business. Export sales expected 22-37mbu for 15/16 soybeans and come above the estimates at 47.7mbu. Soybean Meal and Oil were both with the range of expectations. In Brazil the 6-10 forecast has rains for most of the soybean areas but coverage percentages and accumulations have been lowered in the latest runs.
Wheat: Up 1
Weekly export sales estimated at 6-13mbu and came out at 8.3mbu. Rains are forecast for the southern plains next week should help improve condition. France AgriMer estimates wheat planting at 95% complete and 79% emerged.
