Corn: 2 higher

Crop progress shows that 59% of the corn crop is harvested. South Dakota came in at 39%. This is well ahead of the 18% this time last year. North Dakota was at 37% complete compared to 6% this time last year. Export inspections were less than desired.

Soybeans: 5 higher

Soybeans harvest progress is at 77%. This was above trade estimates and above the 68% five year average. South Dakota was at 90% and North Dakota was at 94% Export inspections were good. Argentina and most of Brazil is expected to remain dry.

Wheat: 1 – 3 higher

Pressure will continue on the wheat markets as weather forecasts promote precipitation.US wheat is still expensive compared to foreign sources.
