CORN: As of 7:45 – Down 1
Harvest progress is out this afternoon due to yesterday’s government holiday. Trade is expecting progress at 40-43% complete, just below the 5 year average of 45%. Export inspections will be released this morning as well……not looking for much activity there. We are still overpriced versus other corn exporting countries.

SOYBEANS: As of 7:45 – Up 6
Nationwide harvest progress is anticipated to be 60-63% complete on this afternoon’s progress report. Harvest activity across most of the upper plains came to a halt yesterday as strong winds provided a strong possibility for fires and most producers elected to park the machines and wait for a calmer day. China was on holiday until Thursday of last week. Will we see more export sales of soybeans?

WHEAT: As of 7:45 – Steady to up 1
Seems to be a sideways follower. Winter wheat planting progress will be out at 3pm today. Expecting 60% of the crop to be in the ground…….and awaiting moisture!!!
