Crop Ratings out today at 3 PM

Corn: Up 1
Higher overnight following Friday’s USDA report. In the report, yield was lower 1.3 bushels from the August report to 167.5 bpa. The 6 to 10 day weather looks to be above average temps and mostly dry. Conditions are expected to be unchanged to 1 point lower this afternoon.

Soybeans: Up 6
Higher all night despite USDA raising their yield in Friday’s report to 47.1 bpa. They did also lower 15/16 ending stocks to 450 Million bushels. Early reports on yields seem to be all over the board. The next couple weeks of above normal temps and below normal precipitation will help push the crop along.

Wheat: MW Up1, KC Up 1
Following corn and beans. US harvest is just about done and some seeding for winter wheat has started with an estimate of 10-15% planted. US stocks to use ratio currently pegged at 40.9%
