Corn: steady

Corn is staying steady as a reaction to wheat buying. Traders are starting to turn their thoughts to new crop. Without any breakout news, expect to see this market continue sideways.

Soybeans: 5 – 6 lower

Soybeans are lower after a dismal week in export sales, but remember 98% of the USDA forecasted 2014 soybeans have been shipped or sold. Good weather forecasts continue for Brazil harvest. Argentina’s weather is expected to turn drier and the three day farmer strike is coming to an end.

Wheat: 2 - 4 higher

Wheat is heading higher. Export numbers yesterday were not all that great, but year-to-date numbers suggest we will be able to achieve the USDA forecasted wheat shipments. Concerns about new crop as weather patterns in the Plains continue to be dry.
