Daylight Savings Time starts this weekend…….Couple that with the warmer temps in the forecast and it suddenly feels like Spring!

CORN: As of 7:45 – Down 3
The corn market held together fairly decent yesterday considering the weakness in beans and wheat futures. Some weakness overnight. The sideways to lower action in the futures market this past week has improved basis levels across most of the nation as we finish the week. Next Friday is the deadline to sign up new crop bushels for our new Market Base Builder Program. Contact your nearest Grain Marketing Specialist for more details.

SOYBEANS: As of 7:45 – Down 3
Beans were weaker once again yesterday as harvest is rolling in Brazil. This morning the May futures contract is trading over 50 cents less than Monday’s high……it’s been a tough week.

WHEAT: As of 7:45 – Mpls Down 1, KC up 1
KC Wheat continues to trade at new contract lows and struggles to uncover any demand at these prices. MPLS isn’t too far behind.  HRW should start to break dormancy soon and give us a better idea of condition.
