The Wheat Growers Innovation Center was completed in 2016 and is home to our focus on using Precision Agriculture to help our growers optimize their crop inputs for maximum production. The Innovation Center includes the following facilities, all aimed at promoting and implementing precision agriculture solutions.
The Innovation Showroom in the front lobby of the Innovation Center showcases software and hardware demonstrations and displays, new communication tools, innovative equipment and technologies from our precision ag supply partners.
The Demonstration/Training Room allows us to demonstrate equipment and hardware for planters, tractors and other farm machinery, as well as to deliver training year-round on equipment, custom application, safety and other topics. We also hold our annual meeting of members in this space.
Equipment Modification Shop
In the Equipment Modification Shop we perform repairs and maintenance, and install custom modifications or after-market upgrades, such as fertilizer attachments, liquid fertilizer kits, precision hardware, seed meter calibration, pump repair and planting hardware.
The Wash Bay includes a commercial pressure washer system along with a water recirculation system to help manage contaminants and conserve resources.
The Wheat Growers Parts Store consolidated the entire Wheat Growers' parts inventory. It has become a state-of-the-art store run by professional parts experts and includes an extensive inventory to service most major farm machinery brands.
