Delayed Price Programs

Wheat Growers Delayed Price (DP) Programs give member-owners a variety of choices when it comes to storing and selling grain. All grain is received on a first-come, first-served basis. 

Producers can sell spot or may contract for delivery with a variety of contract options available.

PLEASE NOTE: Wheat Growers DP programs are subject to elevator space and may be discontinued at any time. Title to the grain passes to the elevator at time of delivery. Loan Deficiency Payments (LDPs) cannot be taken at a later date if they become available.

Corn DP Program

Effective for all deliveries starting Jan 17, 2012

Effective, Tuesday, January 17th, any new deliveries of corn placed directly into the Wheat Growers DP Program will have Free Delayed Price. Corn still unpriced in this Free DP program as of Noon, October 15, 2012 will be rolled into the fall 2012 program in effect at that time. This DP program is being offered first come, first served on a Location-by-Location basis. Elevator space may be limited.

Reminder: Since title to this grain passes to the elevator at time of delivery; LDP’s cannot be taken at a later date if they become available.

Soybean DP Program

Effective for all deliveries starting Jan 17, 2012

Effective, Tuesday, January 17th, any new deliveries of soybeans placed directly into the Wheat Growers DP Program will have Free Delayed Price. Soybeans still unpriced in this Free DP program as of Noon, October 1, 2012 will be rolled into the fall 2012 program in effect at that time. This DP program is being offered first come, first served on a Location-by Location basis. Elevator space may be limited.

Wheat DP Program

Effective for all wheat deliveries starting Jan 17, 2012

DP DIRECT: Deliveries may be placed directly into the South Dakota Wheat Growers DP Program. Free DP on Wheat until July 15, 2012. DP wheat not priced by noon July 15, 2012 will be rolled into the Wheat DP program in effect at that time. This DP program is being offered first come, first served on a location by location basis. Elevator space will be limited and some locations may close the DP program as space allows. Reminder, since title to this grain passes to the elevator at time of delivery; LDP’s cannot be taken at a later date if they become available.
